Hospital Visiting Hours
Daily: 12 Noon to 8:30 p.m.
Limited hours in ICU - use phone outside unit to request visit.
Our Gift Shop is located in the Hospital Lobby. Open 9:00 a.m. – 4:00pm p.m. weekdays,closed Saturdays and Sundays . You may purchase fresh floral arrangements, balloons, gifts, candies, stamps and sundries. Call (707) 778-2547.
The PVH Cafeteria is open to visitors Monday - Friday from 7 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Vending machines are available in the Emergency Department and Cafeteria.
Preventing Infections in the Hospital

Volunteers partner with the hospital staff in providing valuable service to our patients. They deliver your mail, flowers, escort you to your room and assist the staff in many ways.
Public telephones and restrooms are adjacent to main, second floor, ED and ICU lobbies.
Newspapers are located in stands in front of the hospital's main door.
Notary Public - A list of notary public services is available for patients. Please call Administration at (707) 778-1111, extension 2631 for information.
Dietitian - Call (707) 778-2672.
Second Floor Patient Rooms - Private rooms = odd numbers; Semi-Private = even numbers.
Discharge Time is 11 a.m. It is important to make arrangements for a friend or family member to pick you up promptly the day of discharge. Your doctor and nurse will provide guidelines on post-hospital care. Our volunteers will escort you to the hospital lobby in a wheelchair, as specified in our hospital policy.
Representatives in our Patient Accounting Department are available to answer questions regarding your bill Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Call (707) 778-7275, selection #2.
Spiritual Care
Our Spiritual Care Department is an integral part of the health care team offering a holistic ministry for the spiritual, emotional and ethical concerns of our patients and their families. Our chaplains include Catholic priests and sisters, ministers of Protestant denominations, and laypersons. Chaplains are available to support you during your time of illness or crisis, to counsel and pray with you and your family and to administer sacraments. Our chaplains would be happy to contact your personal minister or rabbi upon request.
Bioethics Advisory Committee - A standing committee of the Medical Staff exists that can help patients, families, physicians and the hospital staff think through difficult problems related to patient care and ethical considerations. If you would like to contact the Bioethics Committee, talk with the nurse manager of your unit about initiating a case conference.
